We are hiring a Research Lead to support our M&A origination firm, Anvil Partners, in identifying acquisition targets for our private equity clients. This is a remote, full-time contractor role (preferably based in Argentina), with an expected commitment of 20 to 40 hours per week.

The role involves reviewing and cleaning company lists, conducting structured internet research, building target databases, and supporting our outreach prep work. Deliverables will include completed research trackers, weekly list reviews, and ongoing support with data management and reporting.

The ideal candidate is fluent in English, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable using spreadsheets, online research tools, and CRM platforms. Experience with automation (Zapier, Python, GPT) or scraping tools is a plus but not required.

This role supports the research and data backbone of our work—ensuring we stay organized, targeted, and accurate as we scale. The Research Lead will play a key role in supporting deal origination by managing data quality, researching new industries, and helping execute research-driven outreach campaigns.
