Job Description: Sales Closer – High-Ticket Corporate and Academic Speaking Engagements

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Closer to sell high-ticket speaking engagements to universities and corporations across the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and prospect decision-makers in universities and corporate organizations, including event organizers, HR departments, and leadership teams.
Present and position the value of high-impact keynote talks and workshops tailored for academic and corporate audiences.
Close deals for high-ticket speaking engagements, ensuring alignment with client needs and objectives.
Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to foster long-term collaborations and repeat business.
Collaborate with the speaker and team to refine sales strategies, tailor presentations, and achieve revenue targets.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities to position the talks effectively.
Requirements:
Proven experience in high-ticket sales, preferably in the events, education, or corporate BtoB sectors.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a focus on consultative selling.
A strong network or the ability to establish connections within universities and corporate organizations in the U.S.
Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and remotely.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipelines to track and manage leads efficiently.

These talks, delivered by an internationally recognized psychologist, TED Speaker, and executive coach, focus on topics like productivity, leadership, mental health, and personal development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-ticket sales and a passion for creating meaningful connections with decision-makers in the academic and corporate worlds. About the Speaker: The speaker is an expert in mental health, productivity, and leadership, with a compelling personal story of overcoming challenges and achieving success. With over a decade of experience working with executives, government leaders, and global organizations, their talks inspire transformation and provide actionable strategies for sustainable success. Past clients include top universities, multinational companies, and leadership organizations worldwide. Key Responsibilities: Research and connect with decision-makers in universities (e.g., Deans, event planners) and corporations (e.g., HR directors, learning and development teams). Present high-value keynote talks and workshops that address leadership, productivity, and mental health challenges relevant to academic and corporate audiences. Negotiate and close deals for speaking engagements priced at $5,000+ per event. Develop and execute a sales strategy to penetrate the U.S. Market, leveraging your network and outreach efforts. Maintain relationships with clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat bookings. Collaborate with the speaker to tailor presentations and proposals to meet client needs. Qualifications: Proven experience in high-ticket sales, preferably in the events, education, or corporate training sectors. Strong communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to effectively present the value of transformational talks. Familiarity with the U.S. Market, including universities, corporations, and professional associations. Self-starter with a proactive approach to lead generation and closing sales. Experience using CRM tools and managing a sales pipeline effectively. Passion for topics like leadership, productivity, and mental health is a plus.
