Senior Odoo Developer with Brazil Localization Expertise for Manufacturing Client

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Odoo Developer with specialized expertise in Brazil localization for a multi-company manufacturing client. The primary focus of this project will be the implementation of nf-e/nfs-e (nota fiscal eletrônica de produtos e serviços) using either oca l10n-brazil modules or avalara integration. The ideal freelancer must demonstrate a proven track record with at least 2-3 completed Odoo projects specifically in Brazil, showcasing strong experience with production fiscal compliance. Fluency in both Portuguese and English is essential for effective communication with the client's team and understanding local requirements. The project is expected to last between 1 to 3 months, requiring approximately 10-30 hours of work per week.

Scope of Work:
• Install, configure, and test OCA l10n-brazil (or Avalara) in a multi-company Odoo environment.
• Configure nf-e and nfs-e setup to meet sefaz validation requirements.
• Develop or customize fiscal workflows (product classification, tax mapping, invoice issuance).
• Ensure SPED compliance (tax reports, ledger exports).
• Integrate with third-party Brazilian services (e.g., Avalara AvaTax Brazil) if needed.
• Conduct end-to-end testing: issuing, cancelling, and storing electronic invoices.
• Document processes, configurations, and any customizations.
• Provide training to internal team on usage and maintenance.
• Offer 1-2 weeks of post-go-live support for troubleshooting and adjustments.
