Description:

I’m building an interactive educational platform based on my book and am looking for a skilled Web Designer/Frontend Developer to help me bring it to life with animations, gamification, and a seamless user experience.

You’ll focus on building the frontend system and components — I will handle uploading most of the content (book chapters, flashcards, quizzes), but I need you to design and structure it in a way that makes it easy for me to manage and expand later.

What You’ll Be Building:
A modern, responsive frontend using Next.js and TypeScript

A character selection page during login/signup

Beautiful templates/layouts for:

Book content pages

Flashcards

Quizzes

Gamification features:

Coin system (earn coins for activities)

Badges

Progress tracking (e.g., Completed chapters/quizzes)

Mini-challenges to keep learners engaged

An AI-powered smart search to help users quickly find content

Smooth, interactive animations and transitions

Important Scope Notes:
You won’t be uploading all content. I will take care of uploading the full book, quizzes, and flashcards.

You will:

Build the system to support content upload

Set up sample entries (1 chapter, 1 quiz, etc.)

Ensure it’s easy for me to add more content on my own

Be available for basic troubleshooting/support after handoff

Requirements:
Strong experience with Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend development

Skilled with ui/ux design, responsive layouts, and animation libraries (framer motion, gsap, etc.)

Familiar with semantic/AI-powered search (OpenAI embeddings, vector search, etc.)

Experience implementing gamification mechanics and user engagement features

Nice to Have:
Experience with headless CMS (Sanity, Strapi, etc.)

Backend knowledge (Firebase, Supabase, etc.)

Experience with educational platforms or gamified products
