Women’s Small Business Empowerment in Afghanistan: Strategic Planning and Implementation

We are seeking a skilled freelancer to develop a comprehensive small business initiative aimed at empowering women in Afghanistan. The primary goal is to foster financial independence by providing essential business training, startup support, and avenues for product sales, both locally and online. This project requires expertise in strategic planning, business development, and the creation of actionable frameworks.

The selected freelancer will be responsible for the following key deliverables:

1.  Designing a simple, yet effective, business plan tailored for women-led enterprises, focusing on sustainability and local market relevance.
2.  Developing core training materials and a curriculum for basic entrepreneurship, which can be delivered in Dari or English. This includes outlining key business concepts, operational guidance, and financial literacy.
3.  Conducting research and suggesting affordable, viable business ideas suitable for the local context, such as tailoring, handicrafts, or food production.
4.  Formulating a practical marketing and/or e-commerce plan to help these small businesses reach customers and sell their products effectively.

The ultimate objective is to empower Afghan women by establishing sustainable small businesses and significantly improving their income-generating opportunities. We are looking for a professional who can translate this vision into concrete, implementable strategies and resources.
