To become part of the team we would like you to have the following profile
- You work as a freelancer and are registered on Upwork or Workana
- You are a professional in the domain we’re looking and eager to learn new technologies.
- You come with new ideas to optimize operational processes
- You have brilliant communication skills and participate actively in team meetings
- You have a university degree, and we prefer that you have a work experience of 3-5years.
- You have experience in a business intelligence role, by preference within a multinational FMCG manufacturer or retailer
- You can work with us within a flexible agenda between 30h-40h per week
- You have access to a stable internet connection to be used in Zoom or Teams meetings.
- You are native Brazilian and speak fluently Portuguese
- The better your English is, the more we like it.
Skills we are looking for
As a business intelligence expert, you love data and understand our client needs
- You are a guru in Power Bi and have experience in all aspects of it
o Creating beautiful layout graphs and tables
o Calculate complex measures with DAX efficiently
o Build an efficient data-model and logic
o Load and connect to flatfiles and PostGreSQL databases
o Have the skills to build your own PowerBi visuals (pbiviz)
- You are an expert in Excel
o You understand the raw data and flow between the different data sources
o You calculate manually the outcome that need to be achieved in Power Bi, so that data quality is ensured
o You maintain in-between mappings through Excel
- You have strong communication skills
o You work closely together with the data scientist who prepare the data
o You work closely together with the Team manager and inform daily about issues, solutions, and timings.

Our Brazilian Plan
To structure our work better and to optimize our client focus, we would like to set-up a team of 3-4 professionals in Brazil. The main purpose is to shift work that is done today in Belgium to this new team. The team will be managed by our local contact person, who did an MBA in Belgium and lives in Brazil. The initial plan is that we foresee a 6-months trial period to evaluate if externalizing our work helps us to achieve our goals. When successful we’ll continue this way of working.
