We are looking for an embedded software engineers with a minimum of 3 years of experience and desire to help us grow our business. You will report directly to the Project Manager. You will be engaging with highly skilled engineers and customers for the purpose of developing and supporting customers use of the products.  Fluent English or above B2+ is needed

Responsabilities
Resolve escalations and TSRs (Technical Support Requests) from customers under an SLA (Service Level Agreement).
Fix defects reported by internal and external users.
Investigate and resolve security issues (CVEs).
Design and implement software components for Yocto-based Linux Operating Systems.
Integrate open source or independent software vendors' software components.
Design and implement use cases for various Linux components.

Technical Skills
bs or ms in computer science or related majors.
At least three years of Linux platform working experience, including kernel, user space, and build systems.
Developing experience and familiarity with language C, python, and Shell programming.
Experience with git and Jira is beneficial
Have knowledge of Operating System concepts and Linux kernel internals.
Have knowledge and experience fixing and patching Linux distributions (Yocto, CentOS, etc).
Understanding of processor architectures: arm, ppc, mips, and x86, or at least familiar with one of them.
Good English communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking.

Skills and Qualifications Linux Platform Expertise: Demonstrated success with at least three years of working experience on Linux platforms, including kernel, user space, and build systems. Yocto Project: Proficient in developing solutions based on the Yocto project and experience with Yocto-based Linux Operating Systems. Troubleshooting Proficiency: Troubleshooting ability to identify and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently. SSH and Telnet Handling: Handling and debugging targets using SSH and Telnet protocols. Remote Session Management: Ability to manage remote sessions effectively for seamless communication and support. Security Management: Experience in investigating and resolving security issues (CVEs) to ensure system safety and reliability. C, Python, and Shell Programming: Familiarity and hands-on experience with programming languages like C, Python, and Shell. Version Control: Proficient in using Git for version control and Jira for issue tracking and project management. Embedded Software Development: Design and implement software components for Yocto-based Linux Operating Systems. Integration of Third-Party Software: Ability to integrate open-source or independent software vendors' components into the Linux platform. Operating System Concepts: Knowledge of Operating System concepts and Linux kernel internals. Linux Distribution Patching: Experience fixing and patching Linux distributions such as Yocto, CentOS, etc. Processor Architectures: Familiarity with processor architectures like arm, ppc, mips, and x86, or at least expertise in one of them. Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
