Entwicklung einer Social-Fashion App

We are myFash! A start-up from Hamburg and we are developing a social fashion app. A hybrid solution that merges the social media and shopping world.

Our mission is to pick out and suggest only the best, most suitable and desirable ones for shoppers from the almost infinite number of brands, clothing items and outfit combinations, in order to help shoppers to make the best possible and regret-free purchase decision.

Our big goal is to establish ourselves as a "fashion navigator", which becomes the starting point for shoppers in their "fashion journey."

### Our milestones:
The first development stages of the app have been successfully completed and released to the market.
In addition, we are currently in the process of closing another round of financing in order to, among other things, design the app development in-house and further expand our platform.

For our project we are not looking for a pure freelancer, but would be very interested in finding someone who would like to take on the role of CTO and who we can consider as a partner.
As part of this, we can imagine a stake in the company in addition to compensation.


### Regarding the technological:
- The backend currently runs on Ruby-on-Rails and several additional micro-services (e.g. Imports of product catalogs) in NodeJS.

- Database used is MySQL (MariaDB) -The frontend was developed with ReactNative (tied to Ruby-on-Rails).


### An overview of the areas of responsibility:

- Direct involvement and co-design of the product (app).

- Developing the technical aspects of the business strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives

- Discover and implement new technologies that provide a competitive advantage

-Oversee system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency

-Developing quality assurance and data protection processes

-monitoring KPIs to assess technology performance

-Using stakeholder feedback to communicate necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.
