Experienced Spanish Bilingual Account Specialist for Us Bookkeeping

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spanish Bilingual Account Specialist to manage bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping for multiple U.S.-Based small business clients. The ideal candidate will be based in Latin America, with a strong preference for candidates located in Colombia.

Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Recordkeeping:
Maintain accurate general ledger records for multiple U.S.-Based small business clients.
Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including transaction entry, monthly reconciliations, and closings.
Prepare monthly financial statements and client-specific reports.
Conduct timely bank and credit card reconciliations.
Support month-end close processes and ensure organized and audit-ready books.

QuickBooks Online Expertise:
Utilize QuickBooks Online (QBO) to manage daily accounting workflows efficiently.
Categorize and code transactions properly, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Reconcile accounts and maintain up-to-date ledgers.
Create and customize reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
Monitor trends, anomalies, and account balances to catch and resolve errors early.

Expense Management & Reporting:
Track and categorize business expenses with meticulous attention to detail and proper classification.
Generate and submit expense reports for internal and client-facing review.
Follow up on missing receipts or incomplete documentation to ensure compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in U.S. Bookkeeping or accounting.
Advanced QuickBooks Online proficiency is essential.
Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP bookkeeping practices and workflows.
Strong reconciliation skills, including bank and credit card accounts.
Exceptional attention to detail and high standards for accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
