We are a private acquisition group focused on acquiring small industrial and asset-heavy businesses in the United States and Canada. We are seeking a highly analytical Virtual Assistant with proven experience in business research, financial screening, and deal sourcing to help us identify and pre-qualify potential acquisition targets. This is a specialized role requiring a strong understanding of financial metrics and acquisition processes, not a generic lead generation position.

Other asset-heavy B2B industrial businesses
Target Business Profile:
Asking price: $1.6M – $4M (up to $5M max)
EBITDA: $400K minimum (ideal $700K+)
Multiple: 2x – 3.5x (4x max)
5+ years in operation
3 years of financials available
5–40 employees
Owner 55+ years old (retirement motivated)
Inventory included in asking price
Seller financing preferred (20–60%)
Key Responsibilities:
Search marketplaces such as BizBuySell, DealStream, and Axial.
Identify and establish contact with industrial brokers.
Conduct thorough off-market research utilizing NAICS codes.
Estimate owner age as part of the qualification process.
Analyze financial summaries to assess viability.
Apply a defined scoring system to evaluate targets.
Maintain an organized deal pipeline spreadsheet.
Submit structured weekly reports detailing progress and findings.
Required Skills:
Strong financial literacy, including understanding ebitda, sde, and revenue multiples.
Demonstrated experience in sourcing businesses for sale.
Excellent English writing skills for clear communication and reporting.
High attention to detail and a systematic approach to tasks.
Proficiency with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Apollo is preferred.
Weekly Expectations:
Research 100 companies per week.
Pre-qualify 25 potential targets.
Submit 8–12 high-quality targets (score equal to or greater than 70).
