In most of the cases, the job requires an L1 (basic) knowledge technician with at least intermediate English level; the possible activities are mostly break-fix related, involving, but are not limited to:
· Parts replacements: batteries, I/O board, perc, hdd, power board, system board, memory modules, among others, on servers, laptops, or desktops, depending on customer's needs.
· Racking and unracking of servers or network devices, console connection to these devices thru a tech's laptop, and an Internet connection.
· End User Support, Reimage and/or deployment of eu devices; servers, laptops or desktops, hdd formatting, using a prepared usb flash drive or via the customer’s network
· perform basic troubleshooting of servers, laptops, or desktops
in general, the services we provide can be dispatch or on-demand, per-ticket support.
As with any IT service, calls are not guaranteed to happen with any frequency unless otherwise stated by a particular customer/project. There might be scheduled visits depending on the customer’s needs and requests.
