Technical and Physiological Analysis of Men’s Singles Malaysian Junior and Senior Badminton Players

Badminton has experienced a solid growth locally, and became one of the famous sports
since 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. According to the data from the Badminton World
Federation (BWF) website, Malaysia players have won 9 gold medals in the world junior
championship and 1 youth Olympic game. But, Malaysia has yet to win any gold medal in
the Olympic Games. One of the current issues of Malaysia badminton might be the
technical and tactical played in the senior level are different from junior. However, there
limited study comparing both junior and senior level in term of technical performance.
Therefore, the present study will investigate Technical, Temporal Structure and Physiological
Analysis of Men’s Singles Malaysian Junior and Senior Badminton Players
Objective: To examine the technical, timing as well as the physiological demand of the
Malaysia Juniors and Senior Elite Male Single Badminton Players
