Published on the January 14, 2026 in Writing & Translation

About this project

Open

We are seeking a High Agency Production Lead to own the "Final Mile" of our Kindle publishing business. We publish across hundreds of niches, and we need a "Mini-Me" who can take a raw manuscript and a title and turn it into a high-converting, professional product. You aren't just an assistant; you are the manager of the entire production line. You will use advanced AI tools (Gemini, Ideogram), formatting software (Atticus/Vellum), and marketing platforms (Aweber) to build and ship books that customers love.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management: Lead the end-to-end production process after the manuscript is written.

AI Creative Design: Use Ideogram to generate high-quality book covers and Gemini (Custom Gems) to develop lead magnets and bonus content tailored to specific audiences.

Professional Formatting: Format manuscripts using Atticus or Vellum to professional standards; manage and quality-check work from specialized external formatters when needed.

Marketing Funnels: Build and test email automation flows in Aweber, ensuring lead magnets are properly integrated and functional within the book.

Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for specialized freelancers (designers, formatters), providing "veto-level" feedback on their work.

Workflow Logic: Maintain and optimize our Notion workspace to ensure every book moves through the pipeline without friction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

High Agency: You are a problem-solver who brings solutions, not just questions. You have an opinion on what "looks good" and "works well."

AI-Native: Proven experience with prompt engineering (ideally Ideogram and Gemini/ChatGPT).

Tech Proficiency: Experience with Aweber (or similar email tools) and Canva. Experience with Atticus, Vellum, or GHL is a massive plus.

Reliability: You must have Symmetrical Fiber Internet (minimum 25 Mbps Up/Down) and a dedicated power backup to ensure 100% uptime during storms or brownouts.

Excellent English: High-level reading comprehension to ensure lead magnets and bonuses match the "voice" of the manuscript.

Compensation:

Trial Period (3 Months): $4 / HOUR

Post-Trial: $5 / HOUR

Benefits: 13th-month pay, US Holidays off, 1 sick day/1 PTO day per month (post-trial).

Work Environment & Hours:

• Flexible working hours — you may choose your schedule as long as tasks and deadlines are met.
• Must be available to communicate directly with the business owner for at least half of the day during Eastern Time mornings and/or evenings.
• Pay is bi-weekly.
• Direct reporting to the business owner.

How to Apply (Strict Compliance Required): Your application will be discarded if these steps are NOT followed:

1. Send me your answer to "What color is the sky?"

2. Cover Letter: Tell me about a time you had to learn a complex software (like Aweber, GHL, or Vellum) on your own to solve a problem for a client.

3. Drive Folder Link: Provide a link (permissions set to "Anyone with the link") containing:

- Screenshot of a Speed Test showing upload/download speeds.
- Writing/Typing test results from typingtest.com
-Photo of your Workstation including your Backup Power Source.
