We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable WordPress expert to provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and custom development for our existing WordPress website. Our in-house team manages content updates, but we require an external specialist to handle complex technical issues that may arise unexpectedly.
Key Responsibilities and Needs:
Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve critical issues such as plugin conflicts, fatal errors, PHP warnings, and other problems that impact site functionality or availability. Swift response times are crucial for serious outages.
Custom Plugin Development: Develop bespoke WordPress plugins to implement specific features and functionalities that are not available through off-the-shelf solutions.
Performance Optimization: Provide expert advice and implement solutions for improving website performance and speed.
Security Best Practices: Advise on and implement security measures to protect the WordPress site from vulnerabilities.
Backup Management: Ensure robust backup strategies are in place and functioning correctly.
Hosting Migrations: Assist with occasional hosting migrations when necessary.
We are looking for a freelancer who is deeply familiar with WordPress internals, comfortable working with servers and databases, and possesses excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying potential issues and providing long-term solutions.
