Part-Time Junior/Mid-Level Marketing Specialist for Bitcoin Payments Api

Nemequene is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Junior/Mid-Level Marketing Specialist to drive growth for our non-custodial Bitcoin payments API. Our platform enables merchants to receive payments directly into their own wallets, ensuring we never handle their funds. We securely hold only their extended public key (watch-only), meaning no private keys are ever stored on our side. We operate on a flat monthly fee model, avoiding the percentage-based charges common with traditional processors (1%+) and high-risk ones (10-15%). Our market is global, including bitcoin-accepting merchants, e-commerce sellers, freelancers, and developers integrating payment solutions.
This is a full-time role where you will work directly with the founder, owning the execution of marketing strategies. The founder will set the overall direction.
Key responsibilities include:

*  SEO: Conducting keyword research and creating content designed to rank when merchants search for bitcoin payment tools.
*  Content Creation: Developing comprehensive guides, comparisons, tutorials, and compelling landing page copy.
*  Social Media Management: Running our social media channels and actively growing our audience.
*  Community Engagement: Participating genuinely in bitcoin forums and developer communities, focusing on valuable contributions rather than spam.
*  Paid Advertising: Executing small, tracked experiments. Given restrictions on crypto ads by platforms like Google and Meta, this will involve crypto-native networks, newsletters, and creator sponsorships.
*  Outreach: Building and managing lists for outreach to merchants, creators, agencies, and potential partners.
*  Reporting: Providing weekly reports on the effectiveness of marketing activities.

Compensation for this full-time position is US$700 per month, with a separate budget available for approved advertising experiments. Performance bonuses are planned for the future, including per-merchant activation bonuses once our mainnet payment confirmation system is live. The base compensation is expected to increase as company revenue grows, offering significant growth potential for a high-performing individual.
The ideal candidate will possess strong written English skills (other languages are a plus) and a genuine curiosity about bitcoin (no prior expertise is required, as product knowledge will be provided). You should be reliable, self-managing, and communicative, with any real marketing experience (internships, freelance work, personal projects) being valuable. Comfort with direct interaction with the founder in a small team environment is essential.
