Hiring Editor – Please Read Carefully!
Looking for a dedicated full-time editor who is passionate about editing long-form and can also edit short-form. Not looking for someone who does photo/video and edits videos only when they have time.
• Must be fluent in Spanish & English
• Have experience editing long-form & short form videos for US businesses
• Reliable internet connection
• Must meet reasonable deadlines
• Can average 3 reels a day
• Have experience in Business Biography, Brand Videos, Cinematic storytelling, short-form Hormozi-style reels
• Constant communication is a MUST (experience in Notion or project management software)
• Able to share portfolio from the requirements above
Experience editing wedding videos is a major plus
Editing Judgment Requirements:
• Must be able to review long-form video content and identify the most valuable moments for short-form use.
• Must be confident in cutting down long footage and restructuring it into short, compelling, story-driven content.
• Every short-form piece should include a strong hook, natural pacing, and a clean resolution or call-to-action that feels intentional.
• Should understand retention strategies and how to build content that keeps viewers engaged from start to finish.
Compensation:
This role pays between $600–$900 USD per month, depending on the quality, efficiency, and consistency of your work. We reward strong communication, fast turnaround times, and attention to detail. There is also room for growth as our workload increases.
Editing Requirements:
• Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• Adobe After Effects
• Basic/Intermediate experience with vfx/sfx
• great at color grading
• sound mixing/design
test edit required:
all applicants must complete a short test edit after initial contact and before an interview is scheduled. This helps us evaluate your editing style, pacing, and technical ability. Instructions and raw footage will be provided once we’ve reviewed your portfolio.
