About the Company

Selena Courier Service is a boutique, premium courier company based in London, operating since 2007. We specialize in same-day deliveries and are expanding into "Man and Van" services. We use Trello and Google Sheets for all coordination β€” no automated systems β€” so attention to detail and logic are critical.

The Role

We're looking for a part-time Operations Coordinator to manage courier routes, communicate with drivers and clients, and support backend admin. You’ll work directly with the CEO and play a key role in maintaining operational flow and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Coordinate same-day delivery routes manually using Trello and Google Sheets
Communicate with couriers and clients in real-time
Maintain order records, update delivery statuses, and assist with client queries
Optional: support with lead generation, inbound sales, or social content for bonuses
Requirements

Proficient in Google Sheets, Trello, and basic workflow tools
Excellent written and spoken English
Reliable, organized, and capable of working solo
Must be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays + 1 other weekday
Weekend availability (Sat & Sun 7–12 UK) required if/when client coverage expands
Bonus: Experience in logistics, courier ops, dispatch, or remote admin support
Compensation

Freelance contract β€” paid hourly or fixed rate (based on experience)
Bonuses available for sales made via phone/web/accounts supported
Annual seasonal break: 20 Dec – 4 Jan

Project overview

Selena Courier Service is a premium, London-based delivery company with 17+ years of experience in same-day and urgent deliveries. We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented part-time Operations Coordinator to help manage daily courier routes, communicate with drivers and clients, and support backend admin and sales tasks. This role is remote but must follow UK business hours, with an initial schedule of Tuesdays, Thursdays, and one flexible weekday, and the expectation to cover weekend mornings (7am–12pm UK time) as our weekend client base grows. Our systems are entirely manual; we use Trello and Google Sheets for live coordination, so precision, good logic, and excellent English communication are essential. The role includes optional bonus opportunities tied to client growth and service expansion.
