Performance Marketing & Digital Strategy Expert for Icelandic Tourism Company

Car Buddy, a small, owner-led tour and transfer company in Iceland, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to serve as a right-hand expert across various digital marketing and operational functions. Our company specializes in private airport transfers, spa runs, and custom day tours, priding ourselves on speed, reliability, and a friendly human touch. We sell direct and through Online Travel Agencies (OTAs).

This role involves planning, building, optimizing, and reporting on performance marketing, seo, content strategy, social media management, and ota operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, creative, and friendly professional with a strong initiative.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

High availability and responsive communication are essential for this role.
Excellent English communication skills.
Documented experience in the tourism industry.
Proven expertise with Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) such as Viator, GetYourGuide, and TourDesk.
Strong proficiency in Bókun.
Demonstrated success in Meta Ads and Google Ads, supported by measurable case studies.
Proven track record of SEO implementation with quantifiable gains.
Ability to create graphic content for advertising and social media creatives.
Documented experience in social media management across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Consistent weekly reporting discipline.

Desired, but not strictly required, skills include experience with WordPress and Elementor, MailerLite, short-form video creation, and familiarity with platforms like Welcome Pickups/Talixo and Klook.
