Public Relations and Social Media Specialist for Flottweg in South America

Flottweg, a global leader in separation technology, is seeking a dedicated and self-driven freelance Public Relations and Social Media Specialist to enhance our brand presence across South America. This role is crucial for expanding our reach and engagement within the region's industrial and trade sectors. The successful candidate will work closely with our US-based marketing team to ensure strategic alignment and consistent brand messaging. Key Responsibilities:

Build and grow a robust network of journalists, industry magazines, and relevant media contacts throughout South America.
Distribute existing marketing content, including press releases, case studies, and technical articles, to targeted media outlets.
Develop and create new local case studies and success stories specifically tailored for the Spanish-speaking market.
Set up, manage, and actively grow Flottweg's LinkedIn and Instagram accounts for the South American region, including content creation, posting, and performance monitoring.
Collaborate closely with the US marketing team to integrate regional efforts with global marketing strategies.

Required Experience and Skills:

Proven experience in public relations, media relations, or communications within the South American market.
Existing media contacts within the trade and industrial press in South America are a significant advantage.
Exceptional Spanish writing skills for creating compelling and accurate content.
Proficiency in managing and optimizing LinkedIn and Instagram for business purposes.
Ability to work independently and reliably, demonstrating a proactive approach to tasks.
Good English communication skills are essential for seamless coordination with our international team.
