LiveIntel.AI is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for an 8-10 week full-time contract to build a real-time contextual intelligence companion. This assistant will prepare professionals for meetings by surfacing relevant insights from internal sources (CRM, email, notes) and external sources (LinkedIn, news).

Responsibilities for this role include:
- Building core backend services using NestJS (TypeScript) and FastAPI (Python).
- Developing and maintaining integrations for critical platforms such as Microsoft Graph, Salesforce (read-only), OneNote/Notion/Confluence, and various BI warehouses (Azure/AWS).
- Implementing meeting trigger workflows, specifically T-10 minute jobs, and designing snippet generation endpoints.
- Designing robust APIs for functionalities like /meetings/:id/context and /privacy/export|delete.
- Ensuring the scalability of services, implementing caching mechanisms using Redis, and managing asynchronous queueing with Azure Service Bus.
- Collaborating closely with DevOps and Security teams to meet stringent performance and compliance targets.

Key requirements for this position include:
- Strong experience in backend architecture, designing and implementing REST APIs, and managing asynchronous job queues.
- Hands-on expertise with Azure, PostgreSQL, Redis, and OAuth2 integrations.
- A solid understanding of API security best practices and data-privacy patterns.
- Familiarity with ai/llm integration is considered a significant bonus.
- Comfort and proficiency in using AI-assisted coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or other GPT-based IDEs.

Candidates should be prepared to provide examples of relevant API or integration work.
