I am seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support the growth of my language learning platform, Portuguese Learner. The role involves managing both my Facebook page and website (www.PortugueseLearner.com) while assisting with outreach, communication, and other administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include:

Content Creation and Management:
Create and schedule 5–6 engaging posts per week for social media (Facebook and potentially Instagram).
Write, upload, and optimize blog posts/articles for the website, ensuring relevance to European Portuguese learners.
Research and develop content ideas focused on Portuguese language and culture.
Social Media Engagement:
Respond to comments and messages across social media platforms.
Monitor engagement metrics and suggest strategies for improvement.
Outreach and Communication:
Reach out to Portuguese teachers for collaboration opportunities.
Maintain clear communication with teachers and other potential collaborators.
Administrative Support:
Assist with organizing and tracking tasks.
Provide feedback or insights based on analytics (website traffic and social media performance).
Skills and Experience Required:

Strong English communication skills (knowledge of Portuguese is a bonus).
Experience with social media management (especially Facebook).
Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva).
Familiarity with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
Organized, proactive, and responsive in communication.
This is an ongoing role, starting with approximately 6–8 hours per week, with potential for growth as the platform expands.

Hi, I’m the founder of Portuguese Learner, a new platform focused on teaching European Portuguese in an engaging and accessible way. While the website is still in its early stages, I bring extensive experience in language teaching and a passion for providing valuable resources to learners. My goal is to make Portuguese Learner a trusted and dynamic hub for language enthusiasts, starting with European Portuguese and expanding further. As the platform grows, I aim to collaborate with multiple teachers to offer diverse, high-quality learning experiences. In the future, I plan to expand into other languages, starting with Spanish and Dutch, followed by Italian and German. The long-term vision is to establish Portuguese Learner as a multilingual platform that serves learners worldwide. To support this vision, I’m looking for a Virtual Assistant who can assist with content creation, social media engagement, teacher outreach, and various administrative tasks.
