We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to design and implement the core infrastructure for a new mobile application MVP. This project is in the fitness and gamification space, requiring a robust and scalable backend to support key features and future growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building performant APIs and database architectures.
Project Scope includes:
- User authentication and profile management: Secure user registration, login, and profile data storage.
- XP and progression system: Development of a system to track user experience points and progression through various levels.
- Missions system: Implementation of a dynamic system for creating, assigning, and tracking user missions or challenges.
- Leaderboard functionality: Design and build a real-time or near real-time leaderboard to display user rankings.
- API for mobile application: Creation of a well-documented and efficient API to facilitate seamless communication with the mobile front-end.
- Database structure: Design and optimization of the database schema to ensure scalability and data integrity.
- Basic analytics/events tracking: Integration of basic event tracking to monitor user engagement and application performance.
We are looking for a freelancer who can provide:
- A suggested architecture for the backend system, emphasizing scalability and maintainability.
- An estimated timeline for the completion of the MVP features.
- An estimated cost for the entire project.
- Examples of previous backend projects, especially those involving scalable systems or mobile app integration.
