We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal translator to handle the translation of criminal law documents from English to Spanish. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and appropriate translation, maintaining the integrity and legal precision of all content. Responsibilities include translating various legal documents, proofreading translated materials, and ensuring consistent terminology throughout all projects. We require a professional with strong English and Spanish translation skills, coupled with proven experience or specialized knowledge in legal translation. Candidates with a law degree or legal-related qualification are highly preferred. Experience with translation memory tools such as Trados or MemoQ, and prior work experience at a law firm or translation agency, will be a significant advantage. The ability to accurately understand and translate subtle nuances and technical legal terminology is crucial for this role.
