Mystery Shopper Needed for Pricesmart Audits in Bogotá, Colombia

OVERVIEW
We are a consumer goods brand seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented freelancer to conduct bi-weekly retail audits at PriceSmart locations in Colombia. This is a one-month engagement. The freelancer will be responsible for visiting their assigned PriceSmart locations twice over the course of the month. Each visit will involve two key components: a structured shelf audit to assess product placement, stock levels, and promotional compliance, and brief consumer conversations to gather insights on product perception and shopping habits. Full instructions, a comprehensive shot list for photographic evidence, and a standardized reporting template will be provided to ensure consistency and ease of reporting before your first visit. We are looking for professionals who can accurately follow guidelines and effectively engage with consumers.

LOCATIONS
4 visits total (2 per location)
•    Bogotá Salitre
•    Bogotá Usaquén

REQUIREMENTS
•    Active PriceSmart membership
•    Smartphone with a good camera
•    Comfortable striking up brief, natural conversations with fellow shoppers
•    Reliable and punctual, with strong attention to detail
•    Able to submit a structured report with photos within 24 hours of each visit

Part 1 — Shelf Audit
Visit the store as a regular shopper and locate our product on shelf. Capture the following using your phone:
1.  Wide shot of the full shelf section where our product is located
2.  Close-up of our product showing the number of units visible on shelf
3.  Photo of the price tag
4.  Photo of the products immediately to the left and right of ours
5.  Note whether any units appear damaged, misplaced, or poorly displayed
6.  Record the approximate stock level: Full / Half / Low / Out of Stock

Part 2 — Consumer Conversations
After completing the shelf audit, approach 3 shoppers near the product section and have a brief, casual conversation. You do not need to take notes in front of them — jot down your recollections immediately after. We will provide a simple form to capture responses.
Ask each shopper the following:
Q1.  Are you familiar with X brand [brand will be disclosed once selected]?
Q2.  Have you bought and tried this specific product before?
Q3.  If yes — What were your thoughts on it?
Q4.  If no — What, if anything, stopped you from buying it?  (Note: not knowing the brand is a completely valid response — record it as-is.)
Q5.  Do you have a go-to brand for similar products that you typically buy at PriceSmart or other supermarkets?
