Native American English Copyeditor/Proofreader for Sci-Fi Novel Sample

I am looking for a native American English copyeditor/proofreader with fiction experience.
We are seeking a highly skilled native American English copyeditor and proofreader for the final language review of a 56,000-word science-fiction/cyberpunk novel. The manuscript was originally written in Spanish, has been translated to English, and has already undergone extensive QA review. This project is specifically for copyediting and proofreading; we are not looking for translation, developmental editing, or rewriting services.

The primary focus of this review should be on ensuring native American-English naturalness, impeccable grammar, correct syntax, idiomatic usage, appropriate collocations, precise punctuation, and effective dialogue mechanics. The editor must also identify and correct any instances of 'translationese' while diligently preserving the author's established voice and specific terminology throughout the text.

As an initial step, we require a paid sample edit of 2,000 words. The budget for this sample is US$20. All edits should be performed using Microsoft Word Track Changes to allow for easy review and acceptance of suggestions. Successful completion of this sample may lead to an offer for the full manuscript.
