We are C1 Academy — a new, elite football academy based in Sydney, Australia, co-founded by an internationally renowned footballer.
Our vision is to bridge Australian youth talent with Europe’s elite football ecosystem through world-class training, mentorship, and direct club pathways.
We’re looking for a remote Social Media Manager expert to join our team and bring our brand to life online.
🔍 Your Role:
- Develop and execute a monthly content calendar (aligned with brand voice and key milestones)
- Write captions, post copy, hashtags and schedule daily content
- Manage Instagram, TikTok, Facebook (and optionally YouTube Shorts or Threads)
- Coordinate with our local Sydney-based team for photos/videos
- Repurpose footage into engaging content (Reels, carousels, Stories, etc.)
- Monitor engagement (comments, DMs) and respond professionally
- Track performance via basic analytics (reach, engagement, growth)
- Assist with launching paid ad campaigns when required
💡 You Should Have:
- Strong experience with sports, youth, or lifestyle branding
- Creative mind for short-form storytelling
- Solid knowledge of Australian and European football culture
- Proven ability to work remotely and independently
- Tools: Later / Buffer / Meta Business Suite / Canva / CapCut or similar
- Bonus: experience launching new brands or academies
🎯 Our Goal:
To build buzz and engagement in the lead-up to our official launch event and exhibition training— creating a strong digital presence that attracts players, families, press, and sponsors.
📅 Timeline:
- Project starts ASAP
- Initial contract: 1–2 months, with potential for long-term role
- You’ll work closely with the founder/ops manager and be given early access to brand guidelines, footage, and key campaign material
