We are seeking an experienced freelancer to develop and deploy an AI-powered system for automating WhatsApp replies. This solution aims to intelligently handle incoming messages, significantly reducing manual effort for customer support and business inquiries. The system will integrate with the WhatsApp Business api and leverage an advanced ai model for context-aware responses, ensuring scalability and compliance with relevant regulations. This project targets a deployable solution for a business phone number in India.
Objectives:
- Receive and process incoming WhatsApp messages in real-time.
- Utilize AI (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Meta Llama, or similar) for natural language understanding, intent detection, and response generation.
- Support common use cases such as FAQs, order status inquiries, lead qualification, and seamless escalations to human agents when necessary.
- Implement fallback responses for unhandled queries, business hours logic, and comprehensive conversation logging for review and analysis.
Scope of Work:
- API Integration: Set up and configure the WhatsApp Business API (via Meta Cloud API or an official partner like AiSensy/Twilio). This includes handling webhooks for incoming messages and managing outbound replies.
- AI Backend Development: Build a robust server-side application (preferably using
Node.js, Python, or FastAPI) with integrated Natural Language Processing (NLP) capabilities for accurate intent recognition. Integrate with chosen AI model APIs to generate human-like and contextually relevant replies.
- Key Features: Implement rule-based conversation flows for simple, frequently asked questions, configurable via json or yaml for easy updates. Ensure context retention across message threads to maintain coherent conversations. Develop an escalation mechanism to flag and route high-priority chats to human agents. Create a comprehensive dashboard for monitoring active chats, viewing analytics (e.g., Response time, resolution rate), and managing pre-approved message templates.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to WhatsApp policies, including the use of pre-approved templates for proactive messages. Implement data privacy measures equivalent to gdpr/ccpa standards and comply with relevant indian regulations, such as the it act.
- Deployment: Host the solution on a cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Heroku, Vercel), utilizing Docker for containerization to ensure scalability and ease of deployment. The system should first be set up and tested on a designated test phone number.
