Bilingual Spanish/English Closed Caption Editor for Educational Videos

Published on the July 09, 2026 in Writing & Translation

About this project

Open

Seeking bilingual (Spanish / English) freelancer to fix errors in closed captions for educational videos.

We create educational videos in English and Spanish.

We use an AI tool to generate the closed captions.  However, sometimes it doesn't get things quite right in the transcript.

We use a different AI tool to find the errors in the transcript and it takes its best guess as to what the captions were actually supposed to say based on context.

Sometimes it can't figure out what the original audio said based on the transcript alone, so we need a human to listen to the source audio and figure out what was actually said and fix it in the transcript.

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual freelancer (Spanish and English) to meticulously review and correct closed captions for our educational video content. Our current workflow involves using AI tools for initial caption generation and subsequent error detection. However, there are instances where the AI cannot accurately discern the original audio, requiring human intervention.

The primary responsibility of this role will be to listen to the source audio of our educational videos and compare it against the AI-generated transcripts. The freelancer will identify and rectify any inaccuracies, ensuring the closed captions are precise, contextually appropriate, and grammatically correct in both English and Spanish. This is an ongoing need as we continuously produce new video content.
