I am applying to a PhD in Applied Science and Technology, Data Science and Analytics concentration, at a university in the United States, for Fall 2027. I need an experienced reviewer to revise and improve my Statement of Purpose (about 1,300 words) and my resume (2 pages). I already have complete drafts of both, so this is editing and adapting, not writing from scratch.
My background is in exercise science. I am a sport scientist and strength and conditioning coach with 20+ years of experience, and I am moving into data science, where I am still a beginner on the technical side. The main job here is to take my strengths from the sport science world and present them in a way that makes sense to a data science admissions committee, without pretending to be something I am not. I need someone who understands how US PhD committees read these documents and what they expect from a career changer.
What I am looking for:
Real experience with US PhD applications, either as an applicant who got in, a reviewer, or someone who has worked in graduate admissions or academic advising.
Native English speaker based in the United States, or someone who completed graduate studies at a US university.
Human writing only. I will run the final text through an AI detector. If the result comes back as AI generated, I will not accept the work. If your proposal itself reads like it was written by AI, I will not reply.
Deliverables: revised Statement of Purpose and revised resume in Word, with tracked changes or comments so I can see what you changed and why. 1 round of revisions after I review.
Deadline: as soon as possible. My priority application deadline is in early November, so I need this done within days or even today, not weeks.
