Freelance Project Manager for Brand Strategy and Packaging Design Agency

Gel, a brand strategy and packaging design agency, is seeking a highly organized and proactive freelance Project Manager. We work with CPG brands across food, beverage, beauty, and wellness, operating with a lean core team and a network of contractors. This role is crucial for managing client projects and coordinating our contractor network.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own project timelines across multiple parallel client engagements.
- Coordinate our network of designers, strategists, and writers to ensure efficient workflow.
- Act as the main day-to-day client contact, ensuring smooth communication.
- Proactively identify and manage scope creep.
- Facilitate internal and client review presentations.
- Maintain clear visibility of project budgets and hours.
- Provide clear and concise status updates.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and straightforward communicator, ideally based in Mexico. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing freelancers and confident in client interactions without requiring constant oversight. An agency background (design, branding, marketing) is a plus, but not strictly required. Experience with CPG or consumer brands, particularly understanding packaging timelines and production handoffs, is a bonus.
