We are seeking an experienced full-stack developer or team to build a modern, scalable eCommerce platform. The goal is to deliver a smooth and intuitive experience for both customers and administrators, starting with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and allowing for future growth.
Customer-facing features will include: product browsing with advanced search and filtering capabilities, a robust shopping cart, a secure checkout process with integrated payment solutions (Stripe or PayPal), comprehensive order tracking, wishlists, customer reviews, and personalized product recommendations.
For administrators, the platform will feature a comprehensive dashboard to manage products, categories, inventory, orders, customers, and promotional coupons. It will also provide analytics and reporting functionalities, support for notifications, email automation, and role-based access control to ensure secure and efficient operations.
From a technical standpoint, the platform should leverage modern technologies for optimal performance and maintainability. The frontend is envisioned using React or
Next.js, while the backend will be developed with
Node.js, utilizing either Express or NestJS frameworks. PostgreSQL will serve as the primary database, complemented by Redis for efficient caching. The application will expose well-documented REST APIs and implement JWT for secure authentication. Cloud storage will be used for product images, and the entire system will be deployed on AWS or another cloud platform, utilizing Docker for streamlined deployment and scalability.
Future enhancements may include multi-vendor support, subscription models, advanced AI-powered recommendations, customer loyalty programs, and dedicated mobile applications. We are looking for a solution that is secure, fast, and highly maintainable to support long-term business objectives.
