Property Management Leasing Agent
About the company:
We're a full service property management company operating in Detroit focused on low income, government subsidized housing (Section 8). We manage about 40 units and will be growing to over 80 units within the following year.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Property Marketing:
Uploading pictures
Keeping track of properties available to lease
Leasing:
Texting all prospects that reach out to us
Tracking leads and packet in progress
Submitting RAFTA packets within 1 business day of receiving it
Improving leasing processes:
Writing and updating the leasing standard operating procedure
Creating onboarding material for use for new leasing agents
Bookkeeping (accounts receivables, accounts payables, bank reconciliations)
Communicating with tenants
Communicating with owners
Leasing
Coordinating section 8 inspection and city inspections
Monthly owner’s statements to owners
Documenting property management processes
Skills and basic requirements:
Fluent in English
Able to work at least 15 hours a week
Love to learn
Experience is property management
Experience with PM software
Project overview
Leasing agent will reply to tenants via calls and texts. This is not project based but a consistent role
