Podcast & Speaking Outreach Specialist (Virtual Assistant) for Faith-Based Author

We are seeking a highly motivated and persuasive Podcast & Speaking Outreach Specialist to support Rev. Jocelyn J. Jones, an accomplished author, minister, and faith-based speaker focused on empowering women to launch transformative ministries. This part-time virtual assistant role, requiring approximately 20 hours per week, is dedicated to securing high-impact podcast interviews, TEDx and other speaking engagements, and strategic collaboration partnerships. There is potential for this role to expand into a full-time position based on performance and results.

Key responsibilities for this role include: researching and pitching relevant B-level and A-list podcasts, crafting customized outreach and follow-up emails, and coordinating communication and scheduling with hosts. The specialist will utilize platforms such as PodMatch, ListenNotes, Podchaser, and Matchmaker.fm to identify suitable opportunities. Additionally, the role involves identifying TEDx events and conferences, preparing comprehensive applications, bios, and submissions, and proactively finding strategic speaking opportunities where our target audience is actively present. The specialist will also research influencers, ministries, and organizations for potential collaborations, including Instagram Lives, webinars, newsletters, and summits, drafting partnership outreach and negotiating cross-promotion opportunities. All outreach, notes, and follow-ups must be meticulously tracked in Go High Level, and weekly reports summarizing opportunities, pitches, bookings, and follow-up status are required.

Ideal candidates will possess 1-2+ years of proven experience in podcast pitching, public relations, or speaker outreach, with a demonstrated track record of successfully booking podcast or stage appearances. Strong written English and excellent communication skills are essential. Experience with Go High Level is a mandatory requirement, and familiarity with PodMatch or other podcast databases is preferred. The successful candidate will exhibit excellent research skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to follow-through. This position requires a self-starter who can meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Experience working with Christian, personal development, or women's empowerment brands is considered a significant advantage. Tools used in this role include Go High Level, PodMatch, Google Workspace, Canva, LinkedIn, various podcast directories, and communication platforms like Slack/ClickUp.
