Project Managers / Community Leads for Egocentric Video Data Collection in Latin America

We are a global data sourcing company launching a massive Egocentric (Point-of-View) Video Collection project across the Americas. We need 2-3 highly resourceful Project Managers / Community Leads based in Latin America (Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, or Peru preferred) to recruit and manage local contributors.

This is not a desk-bound admin job. We need "boots on the ground" execution. You will build a network of local gig workers who will wear a smartphone headstrap and record their daily manual tasks using a dedicated app.

🎯 your mission: who you need to recruit
your primary goal is to find, onboard, and manage local contributors. Every contributor you recruit MUST meet these strict criteria:

1. The Hardware Rule (Non-Negotiable):
Contributors must own one of the following smartphones. (Do not recruit anyone with older or different Android models):

iPhone 11 or newer

Google Pixel 6 or newer

Samsung Galaxy S21 or newer

2. The Target Scenarios & Industries:
Contributors must be able to record video while standing or walking (no seated tasks). You need to recruit people who can record the following real-world tasks:

Commercial Tasks (High Priority): We strongly prefer contributors who work in physical industries. You should target workers in:

Warehouse logistics & stocking

Commercial cleaning & janitorial services

Hospitality & hotel housekeeping

Retail back-of-house

Food service (back-of-house/kitchen staff)

Landscaping, construction, or light manufacturing

Automotive service and maintenance

Residential Tasks (Secondary): For gig workers or students doing chores at home. Acceptable tasks include:

Doing laundry (sorting, folding, loading machines)

Room organization and tidying

Cleaning (bathroom, wiping counters)

Note: Cooking-focused videos are strictly prohibited.

🛠️ your responsibilities:
recruitment: tap into local whatsapp/facebook groups, university forums, or local business networks to find eligible contributors.

Onboarding: Instruct contributors to download our partner's App, join using our specific Org Code, and teach them the correct recording angle (45 degrees downward, hands/toes visible).

Hardware Distribution: Receive a batch of smartphone headstraps (ordered and paid for by us via Mercado Libre, or you buy locally and we reimburse you), and distribute them to your local team.

Quality Control: Manage a WhatsApp/Telegram group to push your team for daily uploads and correct their recording posture if they shoot bad footage.

💰 COMPENSATION:
Base Rate: $6.00 - $8.00 / hour (Tracked via Upwork, with a weekly hour limit).

Performance Bonus (The real money): Generous milestone bonuses based on the total number of approved video hours your team uploads to the dashboard each week. The more high-quality commercial footage your team produces, the more you earn.

Fluent English is required for our internal syncs. Please describe your past experience in recruiting gig workers or managing local communities.

The hardest part of this job is the device requirement (iPhone 11+, Pixel 6+, Samsung S21+). What is your immediate strategy to find 30+ people in your city who have these phones AND are willing to record physical tasks?

We strongly prefer commercial footage (cleaning, warehouses, retail). Do you have existing access or connections to any commercial businesses or workers in these fields?
