Recruitment for Financial Director Position

We are seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Financial Director to lead financial strategy, planning, compliance, and performance management. This senior role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, risk management, reporting, and leadership of finance teams, while advising executives on decisions that support growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in us financial regulations, holds relevant us certifications, and is comfortable leveraging ai-powered tools to improve efficiency, insight, and innovation across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
Develop and execute financial strategies, policies, and long-term plans aligned with company goals, market conditions, and growth targets.
Identify and assess AI-powered forecasting and planning tools to strengthen strategic decision-making.

Financial Management
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
Research, evaluate, and implement AI-driven finance tools to automate reporting, improve accuracy, and streamline workflows.
Integrate AI solutions into existing financial systems while ensuring compatibility, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
Stay current on relevant fintech and AI developments.

Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting, finance, and analyst teams.
Drive adoption of AI tools within finance, including training and change management.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.

Risk & Compliance
Establish internal controls, manage financial risks, ensure compliance with gaap, sec, irs, and sox requirements where applicable, and coordinate external audits.
Ensure ai tools used in financial operations meet us regulatory and compliance standards.
Assess and mitigate risks related to AI integration, including data privacy, model accuracy, and audit trails.

Performance Analysis
Analyze financial data, trends, and KPIs to provide recommendations that improve profitability and efficiency.
Use AI and advanced analytics to identify anomalies, generate insights, and model scenarios.
Evaluate tools for predictive analytics, expense management, and real-time financial monitoring.

Stakeholder Communication
Present financial reports and recommendations to the CEO, board, investors, and other stakeholders.
Clearly communicate the benefits and risks of AI integration to non-technical audiences.
Translate AI-generated insights into actionable business recommendations.

Investment & Capital
Evaluate investment opportunities, oversee capital expenditures, and support fundraising activities.
Use ai-assisted tools to model roi, assess scenarios, and improve capital allocation.
Recommend technology investments that deliver measurable financial value.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
Required Credentials & Regulatory Knowledge
Active cpa license in good standing with a us state board.
Strong knowledge of us gaap, sec reporting, irs regulations, sox compliance, and fasb standards.
cfa, mba, or similar credentials are a plus.

AI & Technology Proficiency
Proven ability to evaluate and implement AI tools within finance.
Experience with AI-enabled platforms for forecasting, reporting automation, anomaly detection, and scenario modeling.
Understanding of ERP/accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
Ability to assess AI tools for regulatory, compliance, and data privacy requirements.
Strong judgment in reviewing AI outputs, including awareness of limitations, bias, and the need for human oversight.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Experience

Experience leading or supporting AI or digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
