As a Payments Application Specialist, you will be responsible for guiding new payment customers through the onboarding process after theyโ€™ve completed the sales stage. Your primary focus will be assisting them in setting up their payment software and hardware while ensuring all key merchant details are verified.

โฆ Act as the main point of contact for new payment customers during the onboarding application process.
โฆ Provide guidance on the necessary verification requirements for customers, businesses, and bank accounts, including document submission, application review, and coordination with internal teams to secure approvals.
โฆ Proactively engage customers through outbound calls.
โฆ Assist customers via inbound calls when they need support while logged into the system.
โฆ Use SMS and email communication to keep customers informed and engaged throughout the process.
โฆ Work closely with third-party partners to facilitate and expedite application approvals.
โฆ Assist with setting up and troubleshooting payment hardware during onboarding.
โฆ Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience and streamline processes.
โฆ Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in payment processing and share insights with the team.
โฆ Contribute to the development and maintenance of onboarding resources and documentation for new customers.
