This hiring would be for a research project.
Instructions: Need to search for email addresses from available websites and add them to an excel spreadsheet.
You will be provided with an excel spreadsheet (workana_mails.xls). It contains 2,500 rows that list websites.
It is OK for you to complete only the first 2,000 rows (I estimate this would take less than 15 hours).
You need to:
1.Search online the website
2.Many websites no longer exist.
If this is the case, add a “no” in the excel spreadsheet in the column that says “valid_web”, next to that website. If the website is available, proceed to step 3.
3.Check if there is an available email contact on it. Do not spend more than 40 seconds searching for it. I want to get the list of “easy to access” email addresses.
Emails are usually:
In the top of the website
In the bottom of the website
Or after clicking on the website link that says “Contact” or “Contact us”
4.If you find the email address, copy it to the excel file, in the row next to the website
