Success School is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Direct Response Copywriter to join our team. We specialize in helping Australian service business owners scale their operations from 10K to 100K+ per month. Founded by Tim Frey and Steph Frey, our company operates from Koh Samui and offers high-ticket Mastermind programs and a 6-week Accelerator. Our podcast boasts over 2 million downloads.
This role is pivotal in driving revenue and engagement across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will take ownership of key content and communication strategies.
What you'll own:
Email as a revenue channel:
Manage our list of 4,000 contacts, transforming it into a powerful sales engine.
Write near-daily sales emails, consistently capturing Steph's distinct voice.
Develop and refine launch sequences, webinar nurture campaigns, re-engagement strategies, and ascension campaigns.
Own and optimize key metrics including open rates, click rates, and revenue per send.
Funnels and landing pages:
Write and continuously iterate on landing pages for our webinars, such as "Fully Booked Formula" and "Daily Client Machine."
Refine the email sequences that feed into these funnels to maximize conversion.
Conduct A/B testing on underperforming pages until they achieve optimal conversion rates.
YouTube concepts:
Generate two YouTube concepts per week, one tailored for Tim and one for Steph.
Each concept will include a compelling title, a strong hook, an engaging intro, and a beat-by-beat outline of the content to be covered. This is not a full script, but sufficient structure for on-camera riffing.
Podcast support:
Provide support for one long-form episode per week for both Tim and Steph.
This includes developing topic angles, detailed outlines, and key talking points.
Extract powerful hooks and quotes for promotional clips.
Social content:
Create seven social media posts per week for Tim and seven for Steph.
Every piece should be adaptable as both a Reel and a carousel concept.
All content must be strategically built around audience growth and driving traffic to our offers.
Who you are:
You have 3+ years of proven experience writing direct response copy that has successfully sold real products or services to real customers.
Email copywriting is your primary expertise, not merely a secondary skill.
You possess a deep understanding of webinar funnels, application funnels, and long-form sales mechanics.
You are adept at writing in two distinct voices without any blurring or inconsistency.
You are highly data-driven, living by metrics such as ctr, epc, conversion rates, and revenue per subscriber.
You can deliver high-quality work quickly and efficiently, without compromising the core message or angle.
You either have extensive knowledge of the Australian service business market or are committed to gaining a deep understanding of it within your first week.
Nice to have:
Background in coaching, consulting, or information products.
Experience working within GoHighLevel.
Familiarity with Skool.
Proven track record of writing for high-ticket offers (5K AUD and up).
