Ml / Ai Engineer in South America

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ml / ai engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong Python programming skills and extensive hands-on experience in deploying and managing machine learning models within cloud environments. This role involves designing, optimizing, and maintaining robust ML pipelines, ensuring efficient model performance and seamless integration into production systems. We are looking for a professional who can contribute significantly to our product development by applying advanced ml/ai techniques.

Required Skills and Experience:
* Excellent proficiency in Python programming.
* Proven experience with Jupyter Notebook or Google Colab for model development and experimentation.
* Hands-on experience with MLOps tools and practices, including model versioning, deployment, orchestration, and performance monitoring.
* Demonstrated experience with major cloud platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS), for deploying machine learning models into production.
* English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities:
* Design and optimize end-to-end ML model development and deployment pipelines.
* Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (ci/cd) strategies, utilizing tools like github actions, for model testing and validation.
* Build and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and model training pipelines, leveraging ci/cd practices and orchestration tools such as airflow.
* Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of deployed models using modern monitoring solutions.

Nice to Have:
* Experience applying Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to solve real-world product tasks, particularly in areas like Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), and generative models.
* Strong understanding of model inference, optimization techniques (e.g., Latency, throughput, caching, batching, compression), and strategies for production-level deployment.
* Experience in improving model efficiency and resource utilization.

Work Conditions

Full-time, aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST) — California working hours.

Salary: 4,000–8,000 USD net per month.

Full-time contract employment.
