    Innovation Institute is seeking a fluent English speaking recruiter. The intelligent recruiter will identify, recruit, and help manage creatively intelligent remote professionals, primarily in Colombia, Argentina, San Francisco Bay, Italy, France and Japan. English is the common language in the organization. Long term may continue for years.

    About the Recruiter Role

    Our projects span research, publishing, media, technology, education, culture, business development, and related fields. Many initiatives involve LGBTQ culture, history, publishing, media, museums, archives, education, and public-interest research.

    We seek a recruiter who can identify exceptional talent, including passive candidates who may not be actively seeking employment. Build a team of exceptional people. We prefer one outstanding hire over three average hires.

    Primary Responsibilities
•    Source and recruit and filter quality talent
•    Conduct candidate outreach and screening
•    Evaluate qualifications, communication skills, and overall fit
•    Coordinate interviews and hiring activities
•    Assist with onboarding of new hires
•    Monitor and evaluate newly hired personnel during their initial engagement period
•    Identify performance issues, communication problems, reliability concerns, or skill gaps
•    Assist in identifying and supervising part-time administrative support personnel as the organization grows

    Many projects involve preferred knowledge in:
•    LGBTQ culture, classical fiction, history, psychology and sociology
•    Publishing and editorial operations
•    Academic and public-interest research
•    Media and communications
•    Documentary and educational projects
•    Healthy and accurate LGBTQ representation in modern media
•    Healing from homophobia
•    Community and cultural organizations
•    Futurology in: tech, global events, LGBTQ culture (lesbian gay bisexual transgender questioning), environment, adapting to changes, etc.

    Mandatory Qualifications
•    Excellent English Written & Spoken. Spanish. Some Italian & French optional
•    Very intelligent and with good negotiation skills
•    Proven recruiting success
•    Ability to communicate professionally with executives, researchers, writers, attorneys, and other highly educated professionals
•    Computer skills: PC or Apple
•    Strong sourcing and networking skills
•    Experience recruiting remote professionals
•    Highly organized and self-directed
•    Strong judgment and follow-through
•    Good handle on psychology and sociology for recruiting right people.
•    Reliable internet and remote work capability

    IMPORTANT
    Preferred Qualifications - Reliable internet and remote work capability
•    Excellent English communication skills are mandatory.
•    Familiarity with international hiring
•    Familiarity with LGBTQ-related organizations, media, arts, museums, or cultural projects
•    Italian language ability is a plus and may be helpful for certain future projects
•    Spanish language ability is highly desirable

    Background checks will be conducted.

    Compensation: Negotiable hourly part time rate in your currency paid monthly, plus possible profit sharing.
