About Us:
We’re a U.S.-Based short-term rental and property management business looking for a highly reliable and resourceful Director of Operations to help us grow. This is a leadership role for someone who loves solving problems, creating systems, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

We manage short-term rentals and cohosting properties, and we are looking for someone who can fully step into this role and become the backbone of our day-to-day operations.

Project overview

Preferred Background: • Experience in hospitality, Airbnb, short-term rental management, or property management. • Strong English communication (spoken and written). • Comfortable leading a team, overseeing day-to-day operations, and improving systems. • Tech-savvy: Familiarity with tools like Airbnb, VRBO, Google Drive, Slack, ClickUp, and basic automation. ⸻ Position Details: • Full-Time (40 hours/week) • Must be available to work on Pacific Time Zone hours. • Pay: $USD (depending on experience) — room for growth after 90-day review. Your Responsibilities: Property & Guest Operations • Oversee and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of all short-term and mid-term rental properties. • Monitor and manage guest communication and support across platforms (Airbnb, Vrbo, Direct Bookings). • Coordinate turnovers, cleanings, maintenance requests, and property inspections. • Ensure all properties are guest-ready and meet company quality standards. • Troubleshoot guest and vendor issues with a solutions-first mindset. Vendor & Team Coordination • Communicate directly with cleaners, handymen, and service providers. • Schedule and confirm vendor appointments. • Build relationships with new vendors and maintain vendor databases. • Hold vendors accountable for quality and timeliness. Business Operations & Process Improvement • Implement and refine systems, SOPs, and checklists for property management operations. • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and automation. • Assist in onboarding new properties and preparing them for launch. • Manage property calendars, availability, and pricing strategy (optional: training will be provided). Owner & Client Communication • Prepare property performance reports for owners/clients. • Act as a point of contact for owners, providing updates and addressing questions. • Manage contracts and agreements with clients and vendors.
