Remote Financial Controller / Chief Accounting Officer for Latam Operations

We are seeking a highly analytical Financial Controller / Chief Accounting Officer to oversee global financial operations and ensure the integrity of our accounting practices as we expand across LATAM. This role requires strict alignment with us-based us gaap standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

Lead all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
Own month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate financial packages.
Design and monitor robust internal controls to protect company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and efficiently manage all audit schedules.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives in collaboration with leadership.
Oversee latam tax filings and ensure us tax nexus and compliance for all foreign entities.

Required Qualifications:

Extensive experience in accounting and finance, including a minimum of 3 years in a Controller or Chief Accounting Officer role.
Proven experience working with US-based companies.
High proficiency in English (C1-C2 level) is essential for leading meetings and drafting complex financial reports.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; cpa or acca certification is highly preferred.
Advanced ERP system skills (such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP) and strong Excel expertise are required.
This is a fully remote position with a primary focus on the LATAM region.
