Senior Software Engineer with Deep Ai-Assisted Development Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in AI-assisted development. The ideal candidate will have completely rebuilt their workflow around AI tooling and successfully shipped real products using these advanced methods. You should possess a comprehensive understanding of the strengths, quirks, and weaknesses of all major AI development tools, enabling you to confidently select and utilize the best tool for any given task.What You'll Do: Build and ship production features and full applications using AI-assisted workflows end to end, from specification to deployment. Design, build, and maintain robust AI agents capable of performing real-world tasks reliably. Establish and champion best practices for ai-assisted development across our engineering team, including effective prompting patterns, context management, rigorous code review of ai-generated output, and strategic tool selection. Continuously evaluate new AI models and tools as they emerge, making pragmatic decisions on what technologies are worth adopting. Mentor other engineers, guiding them on how to seamlessly integrate AI tooling into their daily development work.What We're Looking For: Deep, hands-on expertise with the modern AI development stack, including tools like Cursor, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, OpenRouter, n8n, Zapier, and similar platforms. You must demonstrate a clear understanding of when and why to leverage each specific tool. A proven track record of successfully shipping real features and complete applications built with significant AI assistance, with the ability to articulate your development process. Extensive experience in building ai agents that perform practical work, such as multi-step task automation, tool utilization, web browsing, file manipulation, and api orchestration. Strong fundamental programming skills, allowing you to effectively read, debug, and optimize AI-generated code, and to identify when a model's output is incorrect. Familiarity with the broader ai ecosystem, including model selection and routing, advanced prompt engineering, managing context windows, understanding mcp, conducting evaluations, and navigating cost/latency tradeoffs.Nice to Have: Contributions to open-source projects, public demos, or published writing related to AI-assisted development. Experience with agent frameworks and orchestration tools (e.g., LangGraph, custom agent loops). Practical experience in fine-tuning models, building evaluation metrics, or working directly with LLM APIs in a production environment.
