We are seeking a talented Creative Strategist and Short-Form Video Editor to transform existing video footage into highly effective TikTok and Meta advertisements. This role requires ownership of the entire creative process, from initial ideation to final delivery. The selected freelancer will be responsible for reviewing existing video assets to identify compelling moments, b-roll, and strong hook material. You will develop innovative hooks, angles, and ad concepts, leveraging provided tools for accelerated ideation while maintaining full creative direction. Key responsibilities include scripting and storyboarding engaging ad narratives, turning a hook into a concise 15-30 second story arc. The editing process will involve using tools like Premiere or CapCut, focusing on native short-form pacing, clear captions, and platform-appropriate aesthetics. The goal is to produce multiple variations per concept for rigorous testing and to iterate rapidly based on performance data. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio of successful paid social ads (specifically for TikTok and Meta Reels), demonstrating a deep understanding of hook-first storytelling and direct response pacing. You must be capable of independently building a compelling story around a given messaging angle and thrive in a fast-paced environment focused on volume and iteration rather than perfection. Excellent written and spoken English is essential for this role.
