Published on the September 27, 2026 in IT & Programming

About this project

Open

We are seeking an experienced developer or team to build 'Southwind Guardian', a branded client and staff portal for our website support service. This portal will support existing website clients and manage standalone web-build, survey, marketing, and consulting projects.

Website Editing Module:
This module will connect to our Cloudways-hosted WordPress/Elementor sites. Clients should be able to edit permitted content, images, documents, posts, and approved page sections. Key functionalities include saving drafts, previewing changes, requesting approval, or asking staff to make modifications. Authorized publishers will have the ability to publish directly. The module must include version recovery capabilities and verify compatibility with our existing sites.

Operations Module:
For clients, the portal will feature a home dashboard displaying their account manager, services, deadlines, and approval statuses. For staff, the module will enable management of clients, projects, tasks, tickets, assignments, recurring checklists, editable intake forms, and comprehensive onboarding/offboarding processes. It will also handle messages, files, and versioned approvals. Essential features include reminders, work queues, approval reassignment, a searchable help section, and the ability to upload manual PDFs and reports.

Social Module:
This section will allow both clients and staff to create, approve, schedule, and publish social media posts. It must provide analytics viewing, report exporting, and management of agreed review workflows. Supported social media channels need to be verified. The module should also include Connect opportunity-Won onboarding with duplicate protection.

Access Control:
The portal requires robust access control with separate permissions for admin, staff, contractors, and clients. Contractors must only see work assigned to them. Internal notes must remain private. Security measures should include Row-Level Security (RLS), server authorization, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for privileged users, audit logs, and hosted isolation/revocation tests.

Authentication & Integrations:
Email login is a mandatory requirement. Optional convenience features include Google/Facebook login, Google file sharing integration, Connect SMS/email inbox, and Cloudflare automation. It is crucial that the core project functionalities operate independently of these optional integrations. The project also requires management of website/domain records and launch approvals.

Technical & Delivery Requirements:
The project must utilize approved designs and ensure distinct agency/client branding, including branded emails. We require a review and potential reuse of existing Next.js/TypeScript/Supabase code, or a clear explanation for a rebuild (no separate paid assessment). Final delivery must be within our accounts, including all source code, tested backups/restore procedures, comprehensive documentation, training for our team, and 90-day defect support. The proposal should provide a quote detailing fixed milestones, a project timeline, recurring costs, and any exclusions against the full Statement of Work (SOW).
