• Handle initial client inquiries, schedule consultations, and gather preliminary information.
• Maintain frequent communication with clients, providing updates on case status and addressing any concerns in a timely manner.
2. Document Management:
• Assist with the preparation and filing of legal documents, such as complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Organize, scan, and maintain accurate client records and case files.
• Ensure all documents are filed correctly and in compliance with court deadlines.
3. Case Support:
• Help with case investigations by collecting and organizing evidence, medical records, and witness statements.
• Coordinate with medical providers to obtain necessary reports and records.
• Track medical treatments and expenses for clients involved in accidents.
4. Client Relations:
• Provide compassionate support to personal injury clients, many of whom may be dealing with difficult circumstances due to injuries.
• Ensure clients feel heard and supported throughout their case, fostering trust and long-term relationships.
5. Scheduling & Coordination:
• Schedule meetings, hearings, and depositions.
• Coordinate with opposing counsel, medical professionals, and experts.
• Help organize attorney calendars to ensure efficiency.
6. Administrative Duties:
• Perform general office tasks such as answering phones, managing emails, and ordering office supplies.
• Ensure client data is entered and updated in case management software.
• Assist with billing and invoicing when necessary.
In a personal injury firm, client empathy and attention to detail are crucial for the role, as the clients are often going through challenging times. Strong communication skills and a keen sense of organization are also essential for success in this position. Spanish speaking is needed.
