We are a growing U.S.-Based premium cigar manufacturer and distributor seeking a part-time B2B Customer Success & Account Manager to help manage and develop our existing portfolio of 60+ wholesale retail and lounge accounts.
This is not a call-center position and is not primarily a cold-sales role. The focus is proactive relationship management, customer retention, account health, and consistent follow-through.
Responsibilities include:
Proactively managing an assigned portfolio of wholesale accounts
Conducting regular account check-ins by phone and email
Monitoring reorder patterns and identifying inactive or at-risk accounts
Supporting onboarding and relationship development for newly acquired accounts
Handling routine account, product, and ordering questions
Maintaining accurate CRM notes, follow-up dates, and next actions
Gathering retailer feedback and identifying opportunities to strengthen customer relationships
Escalating pricing exceptions, payment issues, complaints, or unusual requests to management
Providing concise updates on account activity, risks, and opportunities
We are looking for someone with excellent spoken and written English, strong organizational skills, excellent follow-through, CRM experience, and confidence communicating with U.S.-Based business customers by phone.
Previous experience in B2B customer success, account management, client services, customer support, or a similar client-facing role is strongly preferred.
The position will initially require approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility for up to 20 hours when needed. Reliable overlap with U.S. Central Time business hours is required.
We will begin with a 30-day evaluation period, with the intention of establishing a long-term part-time relationship if the engagement is successful.
Applicants must be comfortable representing a company operating in the premium cigar industry.
To confirm you have carefully reviewed the posting, please begin your proposal with the phrase “Celebrate the Day.”
In your proposal, please briefly answer:
What experience do you have managing B2B customers or client accounts, and approximately how many accounts have you managed at one time?
If a customer normally orders every 30–45 days but has not ordered in 60 days, how would you approach the account?
What information would you normally document in a CRM after speaking with a customer?
What hours are you normally available during U.S. Central Time?
We value thoughtful, concise applications more than long generic proposals.
