About Marketers in Demand
Welcome to Marketers in Demand, a 15-year-old business dedicated to setting the industry standard for B2B tech marketing. Our passion is partnering with more B2B tech clients than any marketing agency in the world. We specialize in B2B tech marketing, working with small, scrappy teams at mid-size B2B tech companies. If you have experience working with this type of client, you’re in the right place.

You'll love it here if you:
• Do what you say (have integrity)
• Make it a 9 (pursue progress, not perfection)
• Say what you mean (balance candor and grace)
• Are a problem solver (solution-centric)
• Are a systems thinker (solve the root problem, not just the symptom)

About the Role
The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for building and maintaining the marketing infrastructure that powers our demand generation engine. This role ensures our stack of marketing, sales, and automation tools works seamlessly to execute scalable multi-channel campaigns. You’ll set up tools, connect systems using workflow automation platforms, and operationalize new marketing ideas. Because our tools evolve quickly, the most important skill for this role is the ability to quickly learn new platforms, test them, and bring ideas to life. The Marketing Operations Manager will collaborate closely with strategists, account managers, and specialists to ensure all campaigns are supported by a reliable, data-driven infrastructure that enables tracking, attribution, and optimization at scale. 1

Responsibilities:

System Setup & Integration
• Own the marketing tech stack, configuring and maintaining tools for campaign execution.
• Build and manage integrations across platforms using workflow automation tools.
• Rapidly learn and implement new software as the stack evolves.
• Test, troubleshoot, and maintain integrations to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Campaign Enablement
• Partner with Account Managers (Strategists) to operationalize campaign plans.
• Ensure that data, tracking, and workflows are in place for timely campaign launches.
• Maintain accurate audience targeting and CRM management.
• Support the rollout of new platforms, ensuring seamless onboarding and adoption.

Data Management & Attribution
• Oversee lead routing, list building, and data management to maintain high-quality prospect data.
• Manage CRM data hygiene and ensure campaigns are tracked against company and contact-level activity.
• Enable attribution and reporting to demonstrate campaign impact and pipeline contribution.
• Continuously monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization.

Success Metrics
In this role, you’ll be accountable for:
• Operational uptime: ensuring tools, workflows, and integrations function reliably.
• Campaign readiness: setting up campaigns quickly and accurately to meet launch deadlines.
• Data quality: maintaining clean, accurate CRM and campaign data.
• Attribution accuracy: enabling clear reporting of pipeline and revenue outcomes from campaigns.

What We Offer
• A fast-paced, results-driven environment that values execution over endless planning.
• The opportunity to work with leading B2B tech brands and cutting-edge marketing technology.
• A tight-knit, collaborative team that values transparency and innovation.
• A leadership team that prioritizes your success and career growth.
