Sourcing & Procurement Specialist (Colombia-Based, On-Demand)

We’re looking for a Colombia-based sourcing professional with experience in procurement, local manufacturing, and exporting goods to the U.S.. Our company works with several fast-moving eCommerce brands that regularly seek product sourcing and export solutions from Colombia.

This is a freelance, on-demand role that varies depending on project volume. You’ll be our go-to person for identifying suppliers, managing procurement tasks, and helping clients navigate logistics and documentation for exporting products to the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

    Identify and evaluate suppliers and manufacturers within Colombia across multiple product categories (textiles, consumer goods, packaging, etc.)

    Assist with supplier communication, price negotiation, and sampling

    Coordinate with local vendors and manufacturers to ensure quality, timelines, and compliance

    Help clients manage logistics and documentation for exporting products to the U.S.

    Perform factory or supplier visits (when needed and feasible)

    Report clearly and proactively on project status, risks, and updates

✅ Required Skills & Qualifications

    Based in Colombia

    Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain

    Knowledge of Colombian export requirements and procedures to the U.S.

    Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English

    Familiarity with working for eCommerce companies or consumer product brands

    Highly organized, self-directed, and responsive

    Existing supplier network across Colombia

    Experience sourcing for Amazon FBA, Shopify, or DTC brands

    Experience with product compliance (labeling, customs, safety standards)
